Jim Trees has been our front-gate “sheriff” since 1997 until he retired in 2010. He will surely be missed!

Jim brought his telescope to TSP in later years, and is memorialized on our Stars End page as an amateur astronomer.

James Lee Trees of Leakey, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at his home in Leakey, Texas. He was born on September 21, 1940, to James and Genevieve Trees.
