Must be a sign of the times, or at least affect of higher fuel prices. I noticed way more than normal the amount of RV sites still available this close to opening day. Have to admit this will hit my gas card pretty hard, still not as bad as 2008 but close. I remember paying $4.80/gal in Pecos then.

I average about 260 gals diesel round trip to TSP but this year I have a smaller RV, a Casita, which gets me about 25% better mpg. Think I can do the trip for around 200 gals.

Anyone else change their living ‘Style’ to help ease the pain?

    Cy’all in a couple weeks.

    Dean,
I rough it in a VW camper van, 1989 water cooled vintage. Still only gets 19 MPG regular. Only coming from Austin, so it’s not such a big deal, but I do hesitate when thinking about traveling to the Winter Star Party in the Keys or Colorado Star Stare.
