2010 Eldorado Star Party Registration Information

ESP 2010 Registration Rates (does NOT include room/accommodations or meals):

• $35 if you preregister postmarked on or before October 10, 2010. (Each add'l family member is just $20 more)
• $100 if you register after October 10, 2010, or At-The-Door (Each add'l family member is just $30 more)
• Children 14 and younger are FREE, when accompanied by parent.
• If you are registering after October 10, please check here to be sure that we have enough space for you.

ESP attendees are required to sign the X-Bar Liability Release Form. Read a copy here.

Refunds (less $18 handling charge AND nonrefundable initial registration processing fee) will be granted upon written request postmarked before October 10, 2010. There is a $35 Handling Fee for returned (bad) checks.

X-Bar Ranch Accommodations (adjacent to observing area):

• Camping (tent or vehicle): $6.50/night/person (Use ESP Registration form to reserve and to pay)
• RV Hookups and Cabins:
  (Email inquiries and requests to stay@xbarranch.com Please include "2010 ESP Reservations" in the subject line.)
  Round House is still available for reservation!)
  • RV hookups: (6 night minimum on nights of ESP)
    - 4 adjacent to observing site (electric hookup only): [32’ max. RV length per site] and
    - 4 nearby at X-Bar's Live Oak Lodge (water and electric hookup only):
    - Other RVs may "park" at regular camping rates (above). Do not run generators unless parked in parking lot area at front gate. RVs should not camp or park immediately next to observing field. There is a special and convenient area available immediately north of the pipeline (see site map).
  • Cabins (6 night minimum on nights of ESP):
    • Cabins (1/2 mile walk to nearby Live Oak Lodge), see X-Bar Ranch Lodging
  • Round House (Part of X-Bar Ranch), for 2-5 people: Click for more info
    about 3 miles (10 minute drive) from the Lodge / Observing Field. 2 bedrooms (King and 3 twins), bathroom with a shower. Appealing to non-astronomer guests who want the lights on, read, watch TV, etc.

ESP T-Shirts (optional, but must be purchased by October 10, 2010):

Available only by advance order, you can have your ESP 2010 T-Shirt(s) waiting for you at the ESP registration table when you arrive. Quantities will be very limited, but you can reserve your specific size(s) through advance payment on your ESP Registration Form. If for some reason you are unable to attend, we will mail your shirt(s).
